Joseph F. Weber Sr., 72, of Bath, died Oct. 10, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of Paulette M. (Sniscik) Weber for 45 years.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y.C., he was a son of the late Pauline (Weber) Miller.

He was a 1958 graduate of Northampton High School.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam era and had a rank of lance corporal.

He was a layout operator for the Agere Corporation, Allentown, for 43 years, retiring in 2002.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bath.

He was an officer and treasurer of the Petersville Rod and Gun Club, Bath, and a member of East Bath Rod and Gun Club, Bath Republican Association, Raccoon Club of East Allen Township, Jacksonian Club of Nazareth and the Telephone-Communication Pioneers, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Janean M. Weber of Northampton; three sons, Joseph F. Jr. and his wife Colleen of Summit Hill, Paul M. and his wife Kathleen of Bath and David M. of Northampton; five grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Megan, Elisha and Ryan; a brother, Robert Miller of New York City; and aunts.

Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, 115 Washington St., Bath, 18014 and/or to the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3593 Adler Place, Bethlehem, 18017.
