PPL retiree

Monica J. Gold, 65, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 13, 3012, in her home. She was the wife of Bruce J. Gold for 11 years and of the late Brian Brownmiller.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of Helen (Yurasits) Frisch of Bethlehem and the late John Frisch.

She worked at PPL Electric Utilities Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 2002 as an administrative assistant.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.

She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, and with the Bethlehem Chapter of Meals on Wheels.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Hungarian Club, Northampton.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Stephanie and her husband Richard Koch of Danville; two stepsons, Scott and his wife Amy Gold and Stuart and his wife Christine Gold of Doylestown; seven stepgrandchildren; uncles; and cousins.
