McNeill wins 133rd District
Democrat Daniel McNeill won the election Nov. 6 over Republican David Maloney for the seat previously held by Democrat Joseph Brennan.
In Lehigh County, McNeill had 61 percent of the vote or 10,320 votes to Malony's 39 percent or 6,516 votes.
In Northampton County, McNeill took 79.39 percent of the vote or 2,977 votes to Malony's 20.40 percent or 765 votes.
McNeill, a resident of Whitehall, ran on a five point plan dealing with quality education, job creation, safer communities, fiscal responsibility and tax reform.
All votes will be certified within the next few weeks.
