Women's club to meet Feb. 21

The Women's Club of Catasauqua will meet Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Salem United Church of Christ, Third and Walnut streets.

This is a change from the usual meeting site at the Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church. The program will involve 100% Cotton presenting popular show tunes. It will be full of fun, friendship and food.

The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will serve a brunch on Sunday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to the public and is non-smoking.

It will be an all-you-can-eat buffet with omelets made to order. Buffet food to be served includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, home fries, French toast, cream chipped beef, crepes and various breakfast pastries, along with coffee, tea and orange juice.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Rd., Catasauqua, will be holding midweek Lenten Bible study beginning on Feb. 20. This year the Lenten Bible Study will be on the Gospel of Luke.

Each Wednesday night during Lent there will be a meeting for supper at 6 p.m., bible study at 6:30 p.m. and worship at 7:30 p.m.
