Roginsky named to science

association

Katlyn Roginsky of Bath was named a member of Alvernia University's Science Association.

Roginsky is a biochemistry major at Alvernia and a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.

Roginsky also served as an orientation assistant at the university for the fall 2012 semester.

Dorschutz earns dean's list status

Sierra Dorschutz of Coplay, a second-year student in the Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, was named to the dean's list for the winter 2013 quarter.

UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON

Joswick assigned as student teacher for spring

Jennifer Joswick of Bath, a senior at The University of Scranton, is serving as a student teacher at Valley View High School in the Valley View School District for the spring semester.

Joswick is majoring in secondary education Spanish at the Jesuit university.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY

Mickley named

to dean's list

Andrew John Mickley of Whitehall was named to the Miami University dean's list.

Miami University students who ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for the first semester of 2012-13 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic performance.

SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERSITY

Locals named to Who's Who Among Students

Kara Eichelberger and Michael Wagner of Whitehall have been named to the 2012 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Eichelberger is a senior biology major at Susquehanna. A 2009 graduate of Whitehall High School, she is the daughter of Paul and Kristine Eichelberger.

Wagner is a senior music and theater performance major at the university. A 2009 graduate of Whitehall High School, he is the son of Lawrence and Susan Wagner.

Eichelberger also recently received the Big Brothers/Big Sisters award at Susquehanna University.
