Lions Club to host breakfast

The Catasauqua Area Lions Club will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast including sausage and pancakes 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Applebee's, off Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem.

Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Sunday, Oct. 27.

Served will be chipped beef, scrambled eggs, toast, home fries, bacon, sausage, American (formerly French) toast, juice, coffee and tea.

The Catasauqua American Legion will also host a purse bingo, featuring Coach and Vera Bradley purses, Sunday, Nov. 3, beginning at 1 p.m.

The Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will hold a vendor, craft and flea market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

A Chinese auction will be included.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase during the event.


Lehigh Valley Decorative Painters will hold their annual auction Sunday, Nov. 3. Preview time is 1 p.m. and bidding time is 2 p.m.

The event will take place at Sheckler Elementary School on 14th Street.

Tickets for a pre-lit Christmas tree filled with hand-painted ornaments will also be available.

Don't forget this weekend is St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Coat and Winter Outerwear Drive.

Drop off any coats, hats, scarves, gloves and other outer wear 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, and 8-11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at St. Paul's Chapel Narthex, 17 Howertown Road.
