Daniel R. Ringer, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla, and formerly of Whitehall and Schnecksville, died March 7, 2014, in the Hospice House of Sun City Center, Fla. He was the husband of the late Shirley E. (Blose) Ringer.

Born in Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Roy H. and Verna A. (Hahn) Ringer.

He owned and operated the family farm in Whitehall Township for 42 years before retiring in 1990. He was a real estate broker for Lehigh-North Realty Company, Whitehall, for eight years.

He was a member of St. John's UCC Mickleys, Whitehall.

He was a 50-year member and past worthy master of the former Washington Grange 1763 and the Schnecksville Grange 1684.

He is survived by a son, Thomas D. and his wife Nancy of Bethlehem; two daughters, LuAnn S. and her husband Neil Trach of Orefield and Denise L. and her husband John Kruczek of Schnecksville; a brother, Alton H. S. and his wife Mary Ringer of Whitehall; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Leona M. Helfrich and Ruth V. Rabert.
