Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 12

In the 700 block of Limestone Street, a dog was taken inside a home due to an animal complaint.

Suspicious activity was reported at a Catasauqua playground in the 500 block of St. John Street.

At Force 1, 403 Wood St., abandoned vehicles were tagged and towed.

JAN. 13

A parking complaint regarding an issue on Front Street was filed with the department.

An argument between a husband and wife in the 300 block of Wood Street brought out police to investigate.

A dispute between a mother and son in the 700 block of Front Street was reported to police.

A loose dog was returned to its owner in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

JAN. 14

Information on a runaway from the 800 block of Church Street was entered into the National Crime Information Center and was coded as an attempt to locate.

An investigation is continuing for a burglary that occurred in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, members of the department assisted a citizen with a water issue.

Police investigated a noise complaint in the 100 block of Front Street. The music was turned down.

An intoxicated male was around the area of the department, 118 Bridge St., police said.

JAN. 15

Police sought vehicle repossession information on South 10th Street.

In the 100 block of Howertown Road, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

In the 100 block of American Street, a dog was taken inside after police responded to an animal complaint.

Officers assisted another police department in the 100 block of Front Street for a report of a missing juvenile.

JAN. 16

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., police investigated an act of criminal mischief. The report said a tire was slashed.

Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport police department at the airport, 3311 Airport Road, for an alert 2 code.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of Church Street.

Police sought information at Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St.

A loose dog was returned to its owner in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

In the 100 block of American Street, a dog was taken inside after police investigated an animal complaint.

Members of the department sought vehicle repossession information in the 500 block of Second Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of Third Street.

JAN. 17

In the 400 block of Front Street, police sought vehicle repossession information.

At Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, an intruder was reported at the school. Police said Rafael Maldonado, 37, of Catasauqua, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Police conducted a protection-from-abuse service in the 200 block of Mulberry Street.

Officers responded to a report of a fluid spill from a garbage truck in the 300 block of Edward Lane.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a warrant service in the upper lot of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1237 Third St.

On Schoenersville Road, police assisted at the scene of a vehicle fire.

In the 200 block of Main Street, officers investigated a harassment-by-communication report.

The department received a parking complaint on Front Street for a vehicle parked on a yellow line.

At Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, police sought information regarding an incident at the school.

JAN. 18

A 41-year-old Catasauqua resident was arrested in the 100 block of Front Street for a DUI general impairment, driving under a suspension and careless driving.

Credit card fraud in the 400 block of Crane Street was reported.

Officers sought vehicle repossession information on Mulberry Street.

Police investigated an animal complaint in the 100 block of Railroad Street.

A report of a civil matter brought police to Faith Drive to investigate. Police said the issue was over a vehicle title transfer.

Members of the department assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Fourth Street for a domestic dispute.

A vehicle was towed in the 100 block of Front Street for blocking a driveway.

JAN. 19

Police investigated a juvenile complaint at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

Suspicious activity on Second Street was reported to the department. Police said individuals were harassing a pedestrian.

A disturbance at Loving Hearts Child Care Center, 117 Pine St., was reported. No arrests were made.

A suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Circle Drive was reported to police.

On South 10th Street, police sought vehicle repossession information.

JAN. 20

The department received an animal complaint for a problem with a dog in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Police investigated a criminal mischief report in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

JAN. 21

A building fire on Mulberry Street brought out police.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a sign on a door was removed. Police responded to the criminal mischief report.

At Carpe Diem Hair Salon, 206 Second St., trespassing and a problem with a client were reported to police.

Officers sought vehicle repossession information in the 200 block of Second Street.

A sign was removed from a door at Silver Manor, 2 Front St. Police investigated.

JAN. 22

An intoxicated female in the 200 block of Wood Street was reported to police.

Officers investigated a report of a cash theft in the 200 block of Wood Street.

Police sought information regarding the theft of items from vehicles at Biery’s Port Body Works, 307 Front St.

Police responded to a report of dogs fighting in the 700 block of Third Street. The case was referred to an animal control officer.

At Malvern Center, 124 Bridge St., a disagreement between residents brought out police.

Members of the department investigated a report of harassment via texts in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

On Covington Place, a civil dispute brought out officers to investigate.
