Catasauqua: Lenten fish dinner planned
St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., will hold its Lenten fish dinner 4-7 p.m. tomorrow, March 10, in the parish center. The menu includes fried breaded Icelandic haddock; vegetables; cole slaw; choice of baked potato, cabbage and noodles or macaroni and cheese; rolls with butter; beverages; and dessert.
Take-out meals are available as well.

On March 12, the youth group of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will host ballpark refreshments for the congregation following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. This is a good day for visitors to worship with the church because they really get into the baseball spirit with traditional ballpark-themed food.
At 1 p.m. March 12, St. Mary’s will host bingo in its parish center. The kitchen will open 11:30 a.m. for sit-in or take-out food.
The event is sponsored by Assembled Men of St. Mary’s.

Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association will present its Walking Tours for Sitters program 7 p.m. March 14 at the Biery House, 8 Race St. Relax and share your memories as we track the neighborhoods’ history from their beginnings in the 1800s to today.
Due to time constraints, the association will choose which areas to visit based on the interests of those attending.
Feel free to bring refreshments to share.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will be holding a gift card bingo March 17. Doors open 5 p.m. There will be a tricky tray auction and 20 games, plus specials.
