Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JULY 8

A dispute between a husband and wife brought police to the 200 block of Edward Lane.

Officers responded to a noise complaint at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, police investigated a noise complaint.

JULY 9

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, a group agreed to quiet down when police responded to a noise complaint.

A disorderly group in the 200 block of Bridge Street brought out officers.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 200 block of York Street.

In the 200 block of Edward Lane, officers sought repossession information.

A child at large was reunited with the mother on Railroad Street.

In the 300 block of High Street, police responded to a report of a loose dog. The owner picked it up at the kennel.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., police assisted a resident with a neighbor problem.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with recovery of stolen property in the 100 block of Limestone Street.

In the 100 block of Howertown Road, a report of a dog bite was referred to an animal control officer.

A dispute between a girlfriend and boyfriend in the 300 block of Wood Street brought out police.

JULY 10

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a vehicle was keyed.

Jose Rivas, 40, of Newark, N.J., was arrested for violation of a protection-from-abuse order in the 400 block of Limestone Street.

At Hartzell’s Pharmacy, 300 American St., police responded to a report of a stolen cigarette disposal container.

A bicycle was found at Colonial Landscape, 706 Front St.

The department said an investigation is continuing after a dog bite was reported in the 200 block of Mulberry Street.

Police responded to a report of a male carrying a shotgun in the 400 block of Second Street. The male was located.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Howertown Road.

In the 500 block of Pearl Street, Brian Miller, 22, of Walnutport, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Police responded to a report of an unwanted person in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

In the 400 block of Limestone Street, officers responded to a report of a possible violation of a protection-from-abuse order.

In the 500 block of Race Street, police sought information regarding a protection-from-abuse order.

JULY 11

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 200 block of Front Street.

On 14th Street, police responded to a report of suspicious activity. The persons were located and identified.

Members of the department responded to a harassment by communication report at Bridge Street Family Restaurant, 215 Bridge St.

An ordinance was violated in the 400 block of Walnut Street. Police said persons were putting garbage in front of a home.

Twelve no parking signs were issued at Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St.

JULY 12

On Race Street, police investigated a report of concrete dumped in the area. A cleanup crew was sent.

In the 700 block of Fourth Street, police investigated a parking complaint.

A dog was found on Race Street. Police responded to the animal complaint.

In the 700 block of Bath Avenue, officers assisted South Whitehall police. A suspect was located.

In the 700 block of Front Street, police investigated an unattended death.

An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police sought information regarding a protection-from-abuse order at Bridge Street Family Restaurant, 215 Bridge St.

JULY 13

In the 100 block of American Street, keys were reported missing.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 500 block of Fourth Street brought out police.

Sharon Dickson, 55, and Michael Sukenik, 62, both of Catasauqua, were cited for disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

The department received an animal complaint in the 300 block of Front Street. A dog was reportedly left inside a car. The vehicle owner was warned by officers.

Police investigated a parking complaint in the 200 block of Second Street.

A juvenile was reported missing from the 300 block of Bridge Street.

An iPod was reported lost at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

JULY 14

In the 100 block of Union Street, officers checked on the welfare of a dog.

Vehicles were ticketed on Second Street.

A vehicle was ticketed at Schlegel’s Dry Cleaners, 120 Race St.

At Catasauqua Band Hall, 208 Front St., a vehicle was towed at the owner’s expense.

An adult was reported missing from the 400 block of Bridge Street. The person returned, police said.

JULY 15

The department received a noise complaint for workers being loud at Phoenix Forging Company Inc., 800 Front St.

On Milton Street, a dog at large brought out police. The owner was located.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., an individual was arrested on DUI charges.

In the 100 block of Second Street, a disturbance brought out police. Arrests are pending, the department said.

An iPhone was reported stolen in the 200 block of Street.

A dispute between a mother and son brought officers to Covington Place.

JULY 16

In the 200 block of Peach Street, a report of a suspicious vehicle brought out police to investigate.

A domestic dispute in the 900 block of Race Street was reported to the department.

An animal complaint in the 200 block of Wood Street summoned police to the scene. The case was followed up by an animal control officer.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Wood Street with a child custody issue.
