The previous event was shortened when a storm rolled in.

With no food drives underway or in the works in the near future, Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association is looking for donations of canned fruit, fruit cups, rice, potatoes, macaroni and cheese and more for its annual food pantry.

The association’s annual fund drive is also underway.

While not setting a goal, members say the drive yields an average of $5,000. This is the group’s sole source of income.

The association will continue with all its programs, ranging from the Halloween parade to other holiday events.
