“Gardening for Butterflies and Hummingbirds” is the colorful key topic for the Sept. 6 meeting of Catasauqua Garden Club. Lori Metz, a Pennsylvania master gardener, will discuss how to make your garden more attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Folks with items for display and/or judging should have them in place early, so the meeting can start on time.

Curious and garden-friendly visitors are welcome to share the hospitality and interest in gardening!
