Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 14

An investigation is continuing for a burglary that occurred in the 100 block of Railroad Street.

On North 14th Street, a vehicle was illegally parked, police said.

Police attempted to contact a vehicle owner on North 12th Street when investigating a parking complaint.

AUG. 15

On North 14th Street, an owner was notified for a vehicle that was illegally parked.

AUG. 16

A ticket was issued in the 700 block of Second Street.

Officers checked on a person who was intoxicated in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

At Blocker’s Hardware, 307 Front St., a vehicle was towed.

In the 100 block of Church Street, a vehicle blocking a garage was reported to the department.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred at R S Hair Care Salon, 25 W. Race St.

A 15-year-old male was arrested for aggravated assault in the 600 block of Walnut Street.

The department received a parking complaint in the 400 block of Front Street.

On Mulberry Street, a ticket was issued.

AUG. 17

In the 600 block of Race Street, a person with a weapon was reported to the department.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., vehicles were damaged.

The theft of jewelry occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

David Dotterer, 56, of Catasauqua, was cited for a dog attacking another dog and for having a pet running at large.

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 100 block of Howertown Road was reported.

A vehicle was ticketed in the 100 block of Church Street.

In the 600 block of Kurtz Street, police investigated a noise complaint.

On Race Street, a stop sign was struck.

At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., officers responded to a noise complaint. A juvenile was sent home.

AUG. 18

Members of the department investigated a report of identity theft in the 400 block of Front Street.

An injured cat was found at the department, 90 Bridge St.

A report of vehicle theft in the 200 block of Lehigh Street was referred to Lehigh County Auto Theft Task Force.

A vehicle stop occurred on Second Street for a wanted person. The driver was taken to Lehigh County Central Booking.

A suspicious person in the 200 block of Wood Street was reported to the department.

At Affinity Sales and Service, 204 Lehigh St., a burglary occurred. An investigation is continuing.

An investigation is continuing for a vehicle stop that occurred on St. John Street.

At Cambridge Day School, 325 Lehigh St., a roadway was flooded. Pennsylvania State Police was notified.

AUG. 19

An investigation is continuing for an attended death that occurred in the 300 block of Poplar Street.

A neighbor issue brought police to the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

A problem with a tenant in the 400 block of Front Street was reported.

AUG. 20

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend brought out police.

Officers responded to a hit and run in the 7200 block of Tanglewood Road. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

AUG. 21

In the 200 block of Limestone Street, a dispute over text messages occurred.

In the 800 block of Faith Drive, police sought vehicle repossession information.

A vehicle was egged in the 700 block of Fourth Street, police said.

A garage was egged in the 600 block of Kurtz Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a vehicle was damaged.

Members of the department conducted an investigation for an unattended death on Second Street.

The department received a report of an electric problem in the 200 block of Church Street. The case was referred to PPL.

A problem with a neighbor’s dog in the 200 block of Edward Lane brought out police.

A vehicle was egged in the 200 block of Faith Drive.

AUG. 22

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a disagreement between residents occurred.

A hazardous condition in the 200 block of Church Street was reported to the department.

Police responded to a report of a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at Force 1, E. 403 Wood St.

A low-handing wire on Race Street was reported. PPL was notified.

A protection-from- abuse order was violated in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

AUG. 23

On Railroad Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

A pet owner was cited for a dog bite in the 200 block of Edward Lane.

In the 300 block of Mulberry Street, bicycles were stolen.

An animal complaint that occurred in the 100 block of Wood Street was referred to an animal control officer.

The department received a complaint of fireworks in the 300 block of Wood Street.

An abandoned vehicle on High Street was tagged.

AUG. 24

An attempted burglary in the 200 block of Limestone Street occurred, police said.

In the 400 block of Second Street, a vehicle was entered. Nothing was taken.

At Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St., a report of an odor brought out police. Police and the fire department were at the scene.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a dispute over a custody agreement occurred.

A person urinating outside of Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was reported to police.

In the 700 block of Second Street, police investigated a report of criminal mischief.

Two no parking signs were issued in the 300 block of High Street.

The theft of electricity in the 100 block of Bridge Street was reported to police.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 400 block of Bridge Street for glass in the yard.

AUG. 25

On Union Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

An abandoned vehicle was tagged on Union Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred on Front Street.

Police assisted the fire department in the 800 block of Church Street.

Suspicious activity on Pine Street brought out police to investigate.

In the 500 block of Green Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police.

Officers assisted Salisbury police in the 1700 block of Lehigh Street.

Four no parking signs were issued in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 700 block of Second Street, no parking signs were issued.

AUG. 26

An investigation is continuing for a suspicious person who was reported at Calico Cat, 16 W. Race St.

Officers assisted an outside agency in the 100 block of Front Street. An investigation is continuing, the department said.

In the 500 block of Kurtz Street, a hazardous condition was referred to code enforcement.

A dispute between neighbors on South 15th Street brought out police to the scene.

Police and the K-9 unit assisted at a scene on West Race Street. The investigation is continuing.

AUG. 27

In the 100 block of Front Street, an assault occurred.

At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., a theft occurred.

Officers checked on an intoxicated person in the 700 block of Fifth Street.

On Second Street, suspicious activity brought police to the scene.

In the 200 block of Faith Drive, police responded to a noise complaint.

Officers checked on an individual in the 200 block of High Street.
