Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 21

The department received a complaint from a resident that someone dropped garbage on his property in the 100 block of South Ninth Street.

Officers assisted a citizen with a parking issue in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of South Second Street.

A suspicious phone call received in the unit block of North Third Street was reported to the department.

The department received a complaint of a dog constantly barking in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

AUG. 22

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the unit block of South Second Street.

Officers assisted a citizen with a parking issue in the unit block of North Front Street.

Police investigated a juvenile complaint in the unit block of North Seventh Street.

An animal complaint of dogs fighting in the unit block of North Front Street was filed with the department.

A wallet was reported lost in the 200 block of South Sixth Street.

Police assisted a citizen with a parking issue in the unit block of North Front Street.

A traffic stop was conducted at South Second and Hokendauqua streets. A warning was issued.

AUG. 23

A warning was issued during a traffic stop at South Second and Center streets.

Police assisted with a vehicle repossession in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.

A suspicious person in the 100 block of Hokendauqua Street was reported.

Members of the department checked on a person in the 200 block of South Second Street.

A report of a domestic complaint in the 100 block of North Front Street brought out police. An adult male was arrested.

AUG. 24

Members of the department conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

The department received a report of a disturbance at Coplay Parkway, 2 Keefer St.

In the unit block of North Second Street, police responded to a report of a disturbance.

Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 300 block of Schreiber Avenue.

A traffic stop for excessive speeding was conducted in the 800 block of Chestnut Street.
