Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 9

The department received a report of a small dog running loose in the Giant Food parking lot, 202 Chestnut St.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of South Second Street.

A hazardous road condition at South Second and Lehigh streets was investigated by police.

Police assisted a citizen in the unit block of South 12th Street.

OCT. 10

The theft of a bicycle from the 200 block of Coplay Street was reported.

OCT. 11

The department assisted with crowd control during the bridge demolition in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

A suspicious person at Coplay Car Wash was reported.

Officers assisted a citizen at Giant Food, 202 Chestnut St.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of North Ruch Street was received.

In the 1600 block of Ridge Street, the department assisted North Catasauqua police with a female in custody.

A Honda car key was found in the unit block of North Third Street.

Police assisted Whitehall Township police on a burglary in progress in the 3200 block of Prydon Circle.

A welfare check was performed in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Sixth Street and Catasauqua police on Stonewood Place with reports of domestic disputes.

OCT. 12

Criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Oak Street was reported.

A drug offense in the 100 block of Strawberry Alley was investigated.

Police responded to a child custody issue in the unit block of North Front Street.

A fraud report was investigated in the unit block of North Seventh Street.

Officers offered protection-from-abuse assistance in the 1200 block of Main Street, Northampton.

A disorderly group in the 100 block of Cherry Street was reported.

Police received a report of a dog locked in a vehicle in the 100 block of South Second Street.
