Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 13

Officers offered protection-from-abuse assistance in the 1200 block of Main Street, Northampton.

The theft of a battery from a disabled vehicle in the unit block of South Second Street brought police out to investigate.

A welfare check was performed in the 100 block of South Second Street.

OCT. 14

A disturbance in the 100 block of South Eighth Street was reported.

Police assisted a citizen in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

A fire at the Coplay Sports field and Maple Street was reported.

Officers received a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

OCT. 15

The department received a parking complaint in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.

In the area of North Sixth and Coplay streets, a wallet was found and returned to its owner.

A suspicious male was reported riding a bicycle and looking into vehicles in the area of Lehigh and South Second streets.

Officers received a report of a raccoon running loose during the day in the 100 block of Cherry Street.

A domestic dispute in the unit block of North Ruch Street was investigated by police.
