Marvin H. Wagner
Marvin H. Wagner, 85, of Whitehall, died at his residence Nov. 20, 2017. He was the husband of Pearl (Demko) Wagner of Whitehall for 62 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of Mary (Snyder) Wagner.
He was a Northampton High School graduate.
He was a Senior Master Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of the 327 Tactical Airlift Squadron during the Korean War and also served during the Cuban missile crisis. He was a loadmaster on a C-130 aircraft in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was in the Air Force Reserves for 32 years and was stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station 913.
He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.
He was a member of the Fullerton American Legion Post 367, as well as a VFW contributor.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Connie and her husband Jim Batug; a son, Gary and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Greg and his wife Kim, Brad and his wife Bethany and Jennifer Batug; four great-grandchildren, Brady, Nolan, Olivia and Ryan; two sisters, Anna Smith and Marianne Heffelfinger; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings.
