Paone announced the borough received approval for two grants from Northampton County for the upcoming year. Each grant is worth $25,000 with the possibility of more through a match stipulation from the county.
One grant is designated for a feasibility study on installing an elevator at the borough’s municipal building. The second is for renovations at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park.
The next borough council meeting will take place 7 p.m. Jan. 15.
