High school: CHS senior Kenzie Bradley wins award

Congratulations to senior Kenzie Bradley on winning the 2017-18 Dave Cunningham Award, which is presented annually to an outstanding senior girls basketball player.


Congratulations also to seniors Madison Emery and Cam Ritter, who were recently honored, along with other Lehigh Valley schools’ girls and boys nominees, at the Lehigh Valley Soccer Scholar Athlete annual awards banquet, held at Northampton Banquet & Event Center.

Madison is a four​-year letter winner in girls soccer and named a captain during her senior season. Madison was also named to the Colonial League girls soccer second team as a senior.

Cam is a three-year letter winner in boys soccer and a four-year letter winner in cross country. He also participates in boys basketball and baseball.


Any senior student-athlete, marching band or National Honor Society member who would be interested in reading to a classroom at Sheckler Elementary School on guest reader day Feb. 21 should sign up in the athletic office.


Catasauqua High School’s Drama Club will present “Singin’ in the Rain” 7 p.m. March 9, 7 p.m. March 10 and 2 p.m. March 11 at Catasauqua High School. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

Tickets can be purchased online at The box office is also open for ticket sales 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through March 6 and 5:30-8 p.m. Feb. 26 and March 5.
