Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.


A borough ordinance was violated at Canal Street Park. The report said four people were cited for violating no-alcohol and no-swimming restrictions.

A suspicious male in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported.

At Canal Street Park, a borough ordinance was violated. Police said the male was violating the no-alcohol restriction.


In the 2100 block of Canal Street, officers responded to a report of a female receiving harassing text messages.


Police investigated a reportable accident at Main Street and Laubach Avenue involving two vehicles.

A hit and run occurred in the 100 block of West 17th Street. The report said a legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side mirror and rear-side window. A mirror from a Mitsubishi was found at the scene.

The department received a report of a domestic dispute that occurred between a male and female in the 1700 block of Line Alley.


In the 100 block of Newport Avenue, police responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female.
