Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 27

A suspicious male who was reportedly screaming and shadow boxing was reported. Police calmed the man and transported him home.

An unwanted male in the unit block of North Third Street was investigated.

The department addressed a complaint of numerous ordinance violations in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

AUG. 28

Officers investigated a theft in the unit block of South Fifth Street.

Police responded to a report of a male acting suspicious in the 100 block of South Seventh Street.

The department investigated a business alarm in the unit block of South Second Street.

A BMX bicycle found in the 100 block of Maple Street was reported.

AUG. 29

Police investigated a report of computer fraud in the 1100 block of Center Street.

A written warning was issued for an equipment violation during a vehicle stop in the 200 block of South Seventh Street.

Officers responded to a hit and run in the 200 block of Center Street.

AUG. 30

A domestic dispute in the unit block of North Front Street was investigated.

Officers responded to a landlord-tenant disturbance in the 200 block of South Front Street.

The department addressed a noise complaint for loud music in the unit block of South Second Street.

A motor vehicle accident in the unit block of South Third Street was reported.

Police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Coplay Street.

AUG. 31

A disturbance at Coplay Parkway, 2 Keefer St., was investigated.

A citation was issued for operating a vehicle without a license during a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Second Street.

SEPT. 1

A reckless driver in the area of North Front and Coplay streets was reported.

A possible large animal in the unit block of North Sixth Street was investigated.

Police investigated a domestic dispute in the unit block of South Second Street.

A disturbance in the unit block of North Second Street brought officers to the scene.

The department responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of North Second Street.

Police addressed a child custody issue in the 100 block of North Seventh Street.

Officers assisted a citizen with a neighbor problem in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Police investigated a missing juvenile in the unit block of North Third Street.

A reckless driver in the 200 block of Chestnut Street was reported.

Police were on the scene of a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Catherine Drive.

Officers investigated suspicious activity in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.

The department investigated a domestic dispute in the unit block of North Second Street.

Police responded to a juvenile complaint in the unit block of South Front Street. Juveniles were reportedly running out into the street at the school bus stop.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of Catherine Drive. A coconut was left at the resident’s front door.
