Ava Baraket opens her envelope and allows her butterfly — a symbol of hope — to be released skyward during a memorial Aug. 26 at Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St. The event, co-sponsored by Brubaker Funeral Home and Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, was held in honor of loved ones who have died.
