Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 11

Officers responded to a fire alarm in the 100 block of North Sixth Street.

Police assisted a citizen with a traffic issue in the area of Saylor Drive and Coplay Street.

The department addressed a parking complaint in the 800 block of Barbara Drive.

SEPT. 12

Police addressed a suspicious person reported sleeping at Coplay Parkway, Second and Keefer streets.

Officers investigated a report of a stolen bicycle in the 100 block of South Second Street.

The department served a warrant out of Florida on a male in the 100 block of North Second Street.

Police investigated a report of an open door in the 100 block of South Second Street.

SEPT. 13

The department addressed a report of an abandoned vehicle in the unit block of North Second Street.

A written warning was issued during a traffic stop at South Second and Hokendauqua streets.

Officers investigated a harassment report in the 200 block of South Ruch Street.

Parking complaints on North Front, South Second and South Fourth streets were received.

SEPT. 14

A motor vehicle accident at Hall Street and Pink Alley brought officers to the scene.

Police responded to a business alarm in the unit block of South Second Street.

SEPT. 15

The department investigated a wanted person report in the unit block of North Front Street.

SEPT. 16

A female was charged with simple assault in the 1100 block of Center Street.

Police assisted citizens on Center and North Seventh streets.

SEPT. 18

During a vehicle stop in the 500 block of Chestnut Street, the driver was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a vehicle stop on the Hokendauqua-North Catasauqua Bridge.

A vehicle was repossessed in the 600 block of Schreiber Avenue.

Police investigated a phone scam in the unit block of Saylor Drive.

The department addressed a report of a parking complaint in the unit block of North Front Street.

SEPT. 20

Officers investigated a reported Internet scam involving the purchase of puppies in the unit block of Saylor Drive.

A noise complaint in the unit block of South Front Street was reported.

SEPT. 21

Police investigated a report of youths threatening others with a knife in the area of the Ironton Rail Trail.

A retail theft from the Giant Food Store, 202 Chestnut St., was reported.

Officers responded to a theft of tools from a backyard in the 100 block of South Third Street.

Suspicious individuals in the unit block of South Second Street were investigated.

The department addressed a fireworks complaint in the 300 block of Cherry Street.

Police were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1200 block of Center Street.

A phone scam in the 100 block of North Ruch Street was reported.

SEPT. 22

Possible drug activity in the unit block of North Second Street was investigated.

Officers responded to a report of a woman screaming in the unit block of South Front Street.

The department investigated a business alarm in the unit block of South Second Street.

A motor vehicle accident in the 600 block of Chestnut Street brought police to the scene.

Police assisted a female who called looking for the name of a good vegan restaurant.

SEPT. 23

A landlord/tenant dispute in the unit block of North Second Street brought police to the scene.

Officers investigated a disturbance involving a group of juveniles in the 800 block of Barbara Drive.

The department responded to a domestic dispute in the unit block of North Front Street.

A lost dog in the unit block of South Fourth Street was reported.
