LETTER TO THE EDITOR
To the Editor:
For the 138th District, there is one choice to send to Harrisburg: Dr. Dean Donaher.
Donaher has been a leader in education and the community for over 30 years. With an extensive background serving the Bethlehem Area School District, both as an administrator and a school board member, Donaher understands the weaknesses of the system that funds Pennsylvania education. He believes it is time for the state to keep up its end of the bargain and give our school districts their fair share, instead of relying on property taxes from fixed-income senior citizens.
In Harrisburg, he will fight to make this reform a reality.
Donaher also cares about our local environment. He is opposed to the sludge plant in the Slate Belt and will make sure that Northampton County’s natural resources remain healthy for years to come.
Most importantly, however, Donaher supports legislative redistricting reform because he believes our votes should matter.
If you care about our future, please join me in voting for Dr. Dean Donaher on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
(Editor’s note: The 138th Legislative District includes, in Northampton County, the Townships of Bethlehem (wards 1, 4 and 3, division 4), Bushkill, East Allen, Hanover, Lower Nazareth, Moore (Eastern and Point Phillips districts) and Plainfield and the Boroughs of Bath, Chapman, Pen Argyl and Wind Gap).
