Roughies Report: CHS students win at DECA conference

Twenty-eight Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students qualified for state competition by performing well in their respective fields at the most recent Pennsylvania DECA District 7 Conference, hosted by Lehigh Carbon Community College Dec. 11.

More than 350 students from 12 schools participated in the event.

Congratulations to Catasauqua High School students Amanda Mathis (advertising design/commercial art: financial team — third place), Dylan Gino (marketing and business education: hotel and lodging — second place; and male model — sixth place) and Taylor Andres (supply chain management and logistics technology: logistics — fourth place). These students will head to the Pennsylvania DECA Career Development State Conference in Hershey in February 2019.
