Northampton: Queenship group plans trip

Queenship of Mary Cenacle is sponsoring a bus trip to see the show “Jesus” at Sight & Sound Theatre, Lancaster, May 9. The cost includes everything but the buffet luncheon at Shady Maple. Proceeds allow the Cenacle to make monthly charitable donations.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Feb. 13 at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors open 11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714, 1204 Main St., has planned these activities for the upcoming months.

• Karaoke with DJ PK, 9 p.m. the first and third Fridays of the month

• Polka and button box, 7:30 p.m. the second and fourth Fridays of the month

• Valentine dance with DJ Flip, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16

• St. Patrick’s Day party with DJ PK, 8 p.m. March 15

Northampton Banquet & Event Center hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open 5:30 p.m., and the games begin 7 p.m. The kitchen is open. Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
