North Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 25

Police investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 1000 block of Fifth Street.

AUG. 26

Officers made a warrant arrest in the area of Third and Buttonwood streets.

The department assisted an outside agency in the 500 block of Buttonwood Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 1100 block of Third Street.

AUG. 27

Illegal dumping in the 1100 block of Third Street was investigated.

A traffic stop was conducted on Pine Street to assist Catasauqua police.

Officers performed a welfare check in the area of Grove and Buttonwood streets.

AUG. 28

Police were on the scene of a domestic call in the 1000 block of Third Street.

A theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of Grove Street was investigated.

The department responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Front Street.

An unwanted person in the 300 block of Grove Street was reported.

Officers assisted Northampton police at Fourth and Main streets and Catasauqua police in the 900 block of Bethlehem Road.

AUG. 29

A disturbance in the 300 block of Grove Street brought police to the scene.

A traffic stop was conducted at Front and Second streets.

The department addressed a road hazard in the 1100 block of Front Street.

AUG. 30

Police responded to a report of an unwanted person in the 300 block of Grove Street.

Officers assisted Catasauqua police with a missing person investigation at Front and Pine streets.

The department assisted Catasauqua police with a suspicious person report at Howertown Road and Wood Street.

AUG. 31

Police were on the scene of a DUI and drug investigation at Fourth and Main streets.

Officers assisted citizens in the 1200 block of Second Street and the 1000 block of Howertown Road.

The department addressed a report of downed wires in the 1200 block of Second Street.

A fireworks complaint in the 1000 block of Railroad Street was handled by police.

A traffic stop was conducted at Second and Chapel streets.

Found property in the 1100 block of Front Street was reported.
