With the winter season approaching, Revolution Church opened its doors for a new ministry.

The new initiative, dubbed the GeneroCity Love Outreach, is under the direction of Joshua and Laurel Roeber.

They collected coats and assembled hygiene kits for the inner-city homeless.

The Roebers collected coats over the past few weeks and drove to a homeless shelter in Allentown Nov. 16.

Revolution Church, located on Race and Lehigh streets, is headed by Jim and Mary McIver, senior pastors.
