Chalk drawing reminds residents to wash hands

Most people seem to be staying indoors, which is right in line with Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf’s stay-at-home order. Another reason could be the rains and recent drop in temperature, complete with a May snow flurry this past weekend.

The wet weather has impacted the numerous chalk messages in the borough. The message telling us to “Stay Strong” had been fading in recent weeks, but it was redone in vibrant chalk colors just a few days ago.
