Public Library of Catasauqua: Library plans summer events for youths

Wednesday, June 24, 2020 by The Press in Columns

The Public Library of Catasauqua is planning programs to really embrace the summer fun for youths grades K-12.

The first event, “Imagine Your Garden,” is 2 p.m. July 7, with a rain date of July 14.

Participants can plant flowers in a pot to take home and care for during the summer.

The second event, “Imagine Your Story,” is 2 p.m. July 21, with a rain date of July 28.

Participants will take part in a choose-your-own-adventure story, led by Karen Maurer, the children’s librarian.

Both events will take place in front of the library, 302 Bridge St., and participants must wear masks.

There will be refreshments for everyone at the July 21 event.

Registration is not required, but anyone may call ahead at 610-264-4151.

Both programs are a whole lot of fun, equally for children and teens.

Come join us for fun at the library!
