Stand-up comedian, actor and voice-over talent, Gabriel Jesus Iglesias, best-known for wearing Hawaiian shirts and his catch phrase, “I am not fat ... I am Fluffy,” is celebrating two decades in comedy with his “FluffyMania World Tour: 20 Years of Comedy,” which stops at 8 p.m. Aug. 30, Grandstand, The Great Allentown Fair, Allentown.
Iglesias says he is most excited about his stop at the Allentown Fair for the funnel cake and fried Oreos.
With his “Flicker World Tour,” Niall Horan brings his new direction to The Great Allentown Fair for a Grandstand concert, 7 p.m. Sept. 2. Opening the concert is Maren Morris.
Horan, 24, began his tour in March in Kerry, Ireland, and will conclude it in West Palm Beach, Fla., at the end of September.
He was the third of the members of One Direction to go solo and accomplish reaching the No. 1 album slot with “Flicker,” released in 2017, on the Billboard 200 chart.
The author, defender of homeless people and human rights activist, Eugene Lee McDuffie celebrates the book release of “Scars” May 18 with a banquet at 6 p.m., East Hills Moravian Church, 1830 Butztown Road, Bethlehem.
From 6 p.m.-7 p.m., McDuffie will sign copies of his book. At 7 p.m., testimonies will be shared by Lex Diaz, Jerry Delgado, Mike Kingsley and Renaldo Nazario about how McDuffie influenced them through his ministry.
McDuffie has written three books: “Missing Love Child,” “Dare to Believe: Angels Without Wings” and his most recently-published, “Scars.”
