Catasauqua Presbyterian Church, Second and Pine streets, marks 175 years this year.
It will celebrate with an organ recital in the Sanctuary Sunday, Sept. 28, with guest organist John Richardson, director of traditional music and principal organist for the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. The concert will begin at 4 p.m. followed by light refreshments.
Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will be hosting a mystery dinner theater production of "Deadly Housewives" Saturday, Sept. 27, at 5:30 p.m.
Without a Cue Productions of Philadelphia will again stage a who-done-it mystery.
Bad Bones will be catering a meal of baked ziti, green salad, rolls, dessert and beverages. Proceeds will benefit Holy Trinity's Sidewalk Fund and Central Appalachia's Health Wagon.

The Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., half price sale will continue through Friday, Aug. 29.
The sale includes everything in the store unless it is marked otherwise.
The shop will close for housecleaning and changeover to fall clothing the week of Sept. 2. It will also be closed, Saturday, Aug. 30, and Monday, Sept. 1, for the Labor Day holiday.
Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
