The Catasauqua Garden Club will hold their next meeting 1 p.m. May 7, at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
Since spring has finally arrived, Fred Buse, Pennsylvania Master Gardener and world traveler will take us on a relaxing trip through "A Day in Spring."
The club project will also be distributed. Entries for judging should be in place by 12:45 p.m.
Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church's Youth group will be sponsoring a shopping event at Ten Thousand Villages, Lehigh Valley Mall, outdoor shops Sunday, May 4, from 1 to 5 p.m.
During this event, 15 percent of each sale will be donated to Nohlanhla's South African community to improve health care, especially those affected by HIV and AIDS.
Ten Thousand Villages is a source for handmade gifts, jewelry, home decor, art and sculpture and textiles representing the diverse cultures of artisans in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
Salem UCC, 615 Third St., Catasauqua, will hold its spring craft fair Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bingo will be held at St. Mary's Parish Center, Second and Union streets, Catasauqua, Sunday, April 13 beginning 1 p.m.
The kitchen will be open 11:30 a.m. to all, for eat-in or takeout meals.

The Catasauqua Woman's Club meets 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets.
The program will include a vintage fashion show with Lorita Musselman.

A large Catasauqua class reunion will take place Saturday, July 5, 2014, in conjunction with the J4 festivities.
J4 begins at 9 a.m. with a parade and ends at night with fireworks. The reunion will take place noon- 3 p.m. at the North Catasauqua Park.
All Catasauqua High School classes are invited.
An application was sent to the Guinness Book of World Records in an attempt to surpass the 3,299 record of attendance.
