Russel H. Wise Jr., 66, of Allentown and formerly of Northampton, died March 7, 2013, at home. He was the husband of Anita (Schindler) Wise for 46 years.
Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Rev. Russel H. Sr. and Charlotte (Crist) Wise.
He was a forklift operator for Conway Freight, Fogelsville, for many years before retiring in 2008. He worked for General Electric, Allentown, and for Electrospace, Topton.
He was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Allentown.
MSgt. Richard L. Fies, 82, of Whitehall, died March 10, 2013, at his home. Born in Reading, Richard was the husband of Beverly (Seng) Fies of Whitehall for 31 years.
He was a 1949 graduate of Hershey High School, Hershey.
He was a drill instructor, recruiter and mechanic for 29 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was a life member of the Marine Corps League, Hokendauqua American Legion Post 739 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Gerald "Jerry" A. Beidleman, 64, of Whitehall, died March 7, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Bonnie J. (Dorschutz) for 38 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Charles G. Beidleman and Helen E. (Halcin) Beidleman Hawrylo.
He was a 1964 graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Lehigh County Community College.
He was in the U.S. Navy.
He was co-owner with Les Gaul of Geezers Redo. He was an electrician who worked for 34 years at the Bethlehem Steel. He retired in 1999 from both jobs.
Anna Catherine Tauber, 91, of Whitehall, died March 7, 2013, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Aloysius J. Tauber of Whitehall for 64 years.
Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Matthew J. and Rose A. (Biss) Pramik.
She attended St. John's Slovak School, Allentown, and Whitehall High School.
She was a sewing machine operator and sample maker for Julius Kayser and Company, Allentown.
Phyllis J. Kline, 84, of Fullerton, died March 4, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Abner F. Kline for 22 years.
Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Eva M. (Scheirer) Dresher.
She was a 1947 graduate of Whitehall High School.
She was retired from Bon-Ton. She previously worked for Hess's, Lehigh Candy and Tobacco and PP&L.
Jeanette "Tooty" Belshaw, 78, of Coopersburg, died March 4, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of John Belshaw for 58 years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Potak) Glass.
She was a 1952 graduate of Bethlehem High School.
She was a member of Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Allentown.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne D. and her husband Mark S. Klatchak of Meshoppen, and Jean M. and her husband Robert H. Bower Jr. of Emmaus; and a granddaughter, Amy Bower.
Nicholas J. Focht Jr., 80, of Whitehall, died March 8, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Dankel).
Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Nicholas J. Sr. and Elizabeth (Moosh) Focht.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a welder for Lafarge Cement Company, Whitehall, for 44 years before retiring in 1999.
He attended Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.
He was a life member of Grouse Hall Fish and Game Association, Ironton, and a member of the Egypt Fire Company.
Leonard "Lucky" M. Loch, 88, of Catasauqua, died March 9, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Doris E. (Heimbach) Loch for 57 years.
Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Charles and Mabel Loch.
He was a corporal in Company D, 532nd Engineer Boat and Shore Regiment of the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He worked for 45 years as a mechanic in the plate room for the former Fuller Company, Catasauqua, before he retired in 1990. He worked part time for Ray, David and Dan Reed Plumbing.
Georgene Kline died March 10, 2013. She was the wife of the late Eugene W. Kline.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Kenneth Faust; and a son, Frank.
