Cary N. Schadt, 71, of North Whitehall Township, died Nov. 22, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Nickless) Schadt for 47 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Norman P. and Hannah L. (Sensinger) Schadt
He was a 1959 graduate of Allentown High School.
He was a Vietnam War veteran.
He was an assembler at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown. and later worked in ground maintenance at the Lehigh Country Club.
He attended St. John Lutheran Church, Coplay.
Lorraine F. Fries, 88, of North-ampton, died Nov. 23, 2012, at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Walter D. Fries.
Born in Crossroads, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Emma (Reinhard) Fehnel.
She was a secretary for the Lehigh New England Railroad. She was a tax collector fot Allen Township for eight years.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.
Morton D. Smith, 74, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 24, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Ruthanne (Moyer) Smith for 55 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late William and Myrtle (Coleman) Smith and a stepson of the late Ervin Koehler.
He was a frame driller and forklift operator for Mack Trucks Corporation, Macungie.
Margaret Strassburger McCarty, 91, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 12, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles "Keck" J. McCarty Jr.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Ursula (Zepf) Strassburger.
She was a member of the WAAC and WAC during World War II.
She and her late husband owned and operated McCarty's Farmer's Hotel, Catasauqua.
She was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Roman Catholic Church, North Catasauqua, and of its Altar and Rosary Guild.
Andrew Sidora, 99, died Nov. 14, 2012, in Woodland Terrace at the Oaks, Salisbury Township.
Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Stephen and Theresa (Sestak) Sedora.
He was a U.S Navy veteran.
He was a retired supervisor at the Norfolk Naval Air Station.
He is survived by two daughters, Frieda Sidora of Emmaus and JoAnn and her husband Daniel Lipko of Whitehall; a grandson, Steven Wotring; two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Travis Wotring; and a sister, Verna Sedora of Cementon.

Cheryl Ann Paul, 49, of Northampton, died Nov. 16, 2012, at L.V. Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of Mark Paul.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Timothy S. and Theresa (Horwith) Beckel of Whitehall.
She was a 1981 graduate of Whitehall High School.
She was a payroll associate for Dun and Bradstreet for the past 28 years.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Graham; and a brother, Timothy and his wife Rocehlle Y. Beckel of Schnecksville.
Elizabeth "Betty" D. Engler, 90, formerly of Catasauqua, died Nov. 7, 2012, in Cedarbrook County Home, Allentown. She was the wife of Richard G. Engler for 69 years.
Born in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Merouskie) Sullivan.
She was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church of North Catasauqua.
She was a member of the Catasauqua Garden Club and of the Alchemet Club of the Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
Emma I. Ifkovits, 91, of Northampton, died Nov. 11, 2012, at home. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Ifkovits.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Markus and Anna (Hammel) Stoisits.
She was a presser for the former Clyde Shirt Company, Northampton.
She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton. At the church, she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the choir and Women's Guild.
She was a member of the former St. Joseph Sick and Beneficial Society, Northampton.
Thomas "Mike" H. Friel, 84, of Whitehall, died Nov. 12, 2012. He was the husband of Rosemary J. (Amici) Friel for 35 years.
Born in East Mauch Chunk, he was a son of the late Hugh E. and Bertha M. (Albeck) Friel.
He was a 1947 graduate of Mauch Chunk Catholic High School.
He worked in the clerical department of Mack Trucks until retiring. Before that, he worked for Central Railroad of New Jersey.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.
Robert H. Rohr, 62, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 10, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Linda S. (Horn) Rohr for 40 years.
Born in Egypt, he was a son of Arlene C. (Crouthamel) Rohr of Orefield and the late Henry T. Rohr.
He worked for Appleby Systems, Whitehall, for the last three years before retiring in April. Before that, he worked for the Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery and Mack Trucks Inc.
