Joan C. (Jacksits) Scheetz, 77, of Logan Township, N.J. and formerly of Catasauqua, died April 30, 2014, at Inspira Health Network, Woodbury, N.J. She was the wife of the late James F. Scheetz.
She is survived by two daughters, Jill L. and Jamie M. and her husband Richard Sweeny, all of Logan Township, N.J.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Kelly and Logan; a sister, Elaine Tibbs of New Tripoli; and a brother, James Jacksits of Austin, Texas.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Jacksits of Catasauqua.

Forrest E. Heiser, 85, of Whitehall, died April 29, 2014, at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late of Kathryn L. (Haas) Heiser for 63 years.
Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Charles and Edna (Herber) Heiser.
He was a self employed painter in the Lehigh Valley for 10 years. He worked for Armstrong World Wide Industries, Kuhnsville, for seven years. Prior to that, he was a shipping clerk for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Company, Fogelsville, for 17 years.
Claire E. Knecht, 85, of Fullerton, died April 25, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg campus. She was the wife of the late Paul "Peanuts" W. Knecht for 65 years.
Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Tobias A. and Rilla (Mohrey) Brosious.
She was a 1946 graduate of Whitehall High School.
She worked at Miniphot Studio and R.J. Harwick Photography, both in Allentown.
Michael W. Cesanek, 45, of Whitehall, died April 23, 2014, in his home. He was the husband of Jodi (Fairfield) Cesanek for 30 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Robert Sr. and Jeanette (Fota) Cesanek of Bath.
He was a self-employed contractor for the past 14 years serving the greater Lehigh Valley.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.
Dennis "Rebel" R. Canoy Sr., 70, of Catasauqua, died April 26, 2014, at Cedarbrook, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Sharon (Weber) Canoy.
Born in Miss., he was a son of the late Carl Dennis and Elsie (Grantham) Seals and stepfather David Seals.
He was in the U.S. Army.
He was an independent owner–operator truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Dennis Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Ashburn, Va.; a daughter, Shannon and her husband Matthew Faleski of Upper Macungie Township; and four grandchildren, Sydney, Riley, Mya and Lily.
Conrad G. Gehman, 80, of Macungie, died April 28, 2014, at the home of his daughter Terri. He was the husband of Bernice S. (McClauian) Gehman for 51 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Norman and Alma (Metzler) Gehman.
He was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama during the Korean War.
He was a mechanic at Mack Trucks for 33 years before retiring in 1987.
Katie Cocca, 86, of Fullerton, died April 28, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of John A. Cocca for 65 years.
Born in Gilberton, she was a daughter of the late Lesco and Mary (Bonchak) Guzie.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.
John C. Reiss, 84, of Whitehall, died April 27, 2014, as a result of an auto accident. He was the husband of Katherine E. (Henne) Reiss for 63 years.
Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late Howard and Anna (Schaffer) Reiss.
He was a finisher at the former Bethlehem Furniture Factory until he retired.
He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown, where he was a greeter and an usher.
He volunteered at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.
Linda S. (Horn) Rohr, 62, of Emmaus, formerly of Catasauqua, died May 2, 2014, at Weston Senior Living, where she had been residing. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Rohr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Kermit W. and Marguerite E. (Moser) Horn.
She was a graduate of Dieruff High School, class of 1969.
She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Allentown for 23 years last working in 2006.
She attended the Bible Baptist Church, Breinigsville.
Barbara B. (BenVenuti) Lofland, 66, of Newark, Del. and formerly of Northampton, died April 25, 2014, in her home.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Harriet M. (Miller) BenVenuti.
She was a 1965 graduate of Northampton High School. She graduated from West Chester State Teacher's College.
She was an elementary school teacher in the Newark, Del., Area School District for many years.
She was a member of Westminster Prebyterian Church, Wilmington, Del., and formerly attended St. Paul's U.C.C., Northampton.
