Northampton man arrested on several charges

Lehigh Township

Zachary Thomas Pammer, 24, of Northampton, was arrested on several charges after an incident Nov. 7 in Lehigh Township.

According to the report, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Lehigh Township Police Department was dispatched to the 1100 block of Quince Road for a woman screaming and a naked male, reportedly covered in blood, jumping on her car. Officers said they were also advised a nearby residence was on fire.

Criminal mischief — damage to a window of a front door — in the 1400 block of Railroad Street was reported.

A child custody issue was investigated in the 100 block of East Fourth Street.

A suspicious female in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

In the 500 block of East Fifth Street and the 500 block of East Ninth Street, officers conducted traffic stops.

A civil issue in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue was reported to the department.

Police responded to a report of a Chihuahua being hit by a car in the unit block of South Front Street. The dog was picked up by Sanctuary at Haafsville for medical treatment.

Welfare checks were performed on North Seventh and Chestnut streets.

Children playing in the street in the area of South 12th and Hokendauqua streets were reported.

Officers investigated a report of a pit bull running loose in the area of South Front and Hokendauqua streets.

Officers investigated a report of disorderly conduct in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road.

Slatington man cited for disorderly conduct, criminal mischief

Lehigh Township

Shawn Rice, a 25-year-old male from Slatington, was cited by Lehigh Township police for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for a road-rage incident that occurred Oct. 29 at approximately 8:45 p.m.

According to police, Rice was operating a dark-colored Ford pickup truck. He was cited after he stopped his vehicle on Route 248 at the intersection of Mountain View Drive, where he got out of his truck and began yelling at the vehicle behind him for tailgating.

A burglary occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street. The report said money was stolen.

On Railroad Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers during a traffic stop.

A driver was cited on Howertown Road.

Police investigated a checking account fraud case in the 300 block of East 19th Street.
