Truck takes out traffic light

Borough police at 7:22 a.m. Jan. 17 received a report of traffic lights and poles down at the southeast corner of the intersection of Second and Chestnut streets.

Pierre Voisine of Lang Saint Basile in New Brunswick, Canada, was driving a tractor trailer when he cut the turn too close, knocking down the lights, poles and a business sign and pole for Raadical Restaurant. He pulled over following the incident, police said.
