Harassment

Police responded to a report of a woman in the 100 block of Stone Alley being harassed by her ex-boyfriend Oct. 13.

The woman told police she asked the individual to vacate her premises a week earlier and, since his departure, he has continued to call and text her, police said.

Officers spoke to the ex-boyfriend and instructed him to cease communicating with the woman, police said.

Alarm activated

Police responded to an alarm Oct. 13 in the 1200 block of Center Street.

to fire call

An incident involving overheated cooking oil brought out Coplay police and borough firefighters Oct. 6.

Fans were used by firefighters to ventilate the apartment, located at 10 N. Front St., police said.

No further action was taken by police or firefighters, police said.

Disturbance

Borough police responded to a report of juveniles fighting in the late afternoon hours Oct. 3 at Chestnut and North Ruch streets.

Police said they were unable to find anyone in the area.

Theft reported

A laptop, BlackBerry, Cannon digital camera and $800 in cash were stolen Aug. 25 from a resident of the 1700 block Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh Township.

The items were stolen from a black suitcase removed from the room by housekeeping, police said.

Harassment reported

Police were called Oct. 4 to Dollar General, 1866 Catasauqua Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, to investigate a report of harassment.

According to police, an unknown person called the store Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 requesting alarm codes.
