A parking complaint in the 200 block of Wood Street was filed with the department. The vehicle, blocking a garage, was moved.

Harassment by communications in the 500 block of Front Street was reported to police.

A retail theft occurred at Giant, 202 Chestnut St. According to police, Daniel Snyder and Jessalyn Rider, both of Lehighton, were arrested.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Chestnut Street. A male from Whitehall was arrested on DUI charges.

A motor vehicle accident occurred in the 100 block of South Seventh Street.

In the 1100 block of Oak Street, police investigated a parking complaint.

Police report: Man jumps from Pine St. bridge

A man was reported to have jumped off the Pine Street bridge Tuesday.

A news release from the Catasauqua Police Department states Catasauqua police and Northampton Regional EMS responded.

The report says CPR was administered and the man was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

The incident occurred at 6:58 a.m.

No further information was available.

North Catasauqua police
