Passenger in cycle crash dies of injuries

A Northampton woman, a passenger in a fatal motorcycle crash that took the life of a Palmerton area man, has died of her injuries sustained in the crash.

The Lehigh County coroners’ office said Pamela Kellow, 48, of 557 Washington Ave., died at 12:21 a.m. April 20 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

Coroner Scott Grim ruled the cause of death as severe head injuries and the manner of death an accident.

Twp. police respond to assault

Whitehall Township police responded to a report of assault April 3 at 980 Fairmont Ave.

According to an affidavit of probable cause filed with District Magistrate Robert Halal’s office, police received a call 11:45 p.m. of a man in the south parking lot at 980 Fairmont Ave. causing a disturbance. When police arrived, they found Jean Pierre D’ Meza Nunez, 22, with blood on both hands.
