Wednesday, May 1, 2013 by JEFF MOELLER Special to the Press in Sports

As a senior, Erika Lebron has dealt with the cold reality that her high school softball career could come to an end in the near future.

But Lebron isn't ready to conceive that fact yet. Her team recently clinched a PIAA District 11 playoff berth and the Roughies are also still in the running for the Colonial League North Division with Pen Argyl, who they trailed by a game when the week began.

In fact, Catty (8-4 overall, 4-2 league) was scheduled to meet Pen Argyl (10-1, 5-1)...

Dardas paces CHS

Wednesday, April 24, 2013 by TODD KRESS Special to the Press in Sports

Jordon Dardas has a knack for coming up with big hits.

During Friday's softball game against Salisbury, Dardas once again provided a huge hit in the game's most crucial moment.

Just two days after blasting a key home run against Southern Lehigh, Dardas once again went long ball. After the Falcons (3-10 overall; 1-8 in Colonial League) rallied from a five-run deficit and tied it at six in the fourth inning, Dardas used a three-run homer in the sixth with two outs to lift the...
